Terms of use
The deal between you and Wingset, in plain words.
Draft: Wingset is in early development. This is a plain-language outline, not the final legal text, which will be written with a lawyer before Wingset opens to the public.
Who can use Wingset
You must be 18 or over. One account per person, and it must be yours.
Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
The House rules
Everyone agrees to the House rules when they sign up. Breaking them can mean a warning, removed content, or losing your account.
What you post, and what friends write
You're responsible for what you put on your profile, photos included, and you must have the right to use every photo you add. Friends are responsible for what they write, the pictures they add to an answer and the photos they suggest, and they must have the right to share every picture they send. You choose which answers appear on your profile, and we may remove anything that breaks the rules. A friend can stop being your friend at any time, and you can remove a friend at any time; either way, what that friend wrote and sent about you is removed from your feed and your profile.
Copyright and trademarks
The Wingset name, logo and design belong to Wingset. Your photos and words stay yours, and friends keep the rights to what they write and the pictures they send.
If you think something on Wingset copies your work without permission, tell us where you saw it and we'll look into it. The Contact page says how to reach us.
City and place names come from the GeoNames geographical database (geonames.org), which is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0). We reformatted it and added our own search index. GeoNames does not endorse Wingset.
Plans and payments
Wingset is free to use, including matching, messaging and seeing who likes you. Wingset Plus adds a few extras, like a wider search, more filters, Passport and Rewind. While Wingset is in development, Plus is a free preview: nothing is charged and no card is asked for. Before anyone is ever charged, we'll show the price and the terms and ask first, and you'll be able to cancel from Settings whenever you like.
Early days
Wingset is still being built, so features will change and things may occasionally break. While there are few members, the feed shows sample profiles, clearly labelled. They aren't real people, and liking one doesn't contact anyone. You can stop using Wingset at any time, and delete your account from Settings.

When these terms change, we'll update this page and let you know about anything important.
